Default Airbag error after seat change.

Hi.
Today I finished wiring and replacing vented/power seats into my SAAB 9-5. Started the car and everything was fine.
But then I noticed that in passengers seat the airbag wires were cut by previous owner and soldered a resistor between two wires. I cut the resistor out and taped the wires back originally using this:

And now I have Airbag error in dashboard.
I know that passenger seats Airbag is fine, because I took the seat from my Aero which did not have any Airbag problems.

There should not be a problem in wiring, because everything was fine until I cut out that resistor (so the wires are not cut anywhere between the seat connector and Airbag module).

Could the wire connector be at fault causing more resistance? Should I solder them together?

Thank you.

Did you at any time turn the key to the ON position while the airbag or wire was disconnected? I know this can cause the Airbag light to turn on. I just swapped my worn out seats in my 9-5 for some better ones, and I was mindful to not turn the key (as if to move the seat forward or back during reinstall) while the airbag cable was disconnected. Maybe this is what happened to you?

maybe the connector is bad and that was why they put the resistor in. otherwise did you turn the key on while either seat was out?

Which model year is your car and which model year is seats?
Seat belt buckle changed in my-02 and newer buckle has EOL resistor, older model has only switch.

Thanks for replies.
The connector is fine, the pins are not bent, they go inside the slot.
Seats are from Aero MY2000 and I put them into SE MY98.

Perhaps I did unplug the connector when the ignition was on.
To erase error I need Tech 2 or ODB2 will be enough?

Tech2 only to clear although the eml will reset itself with about 20 error free driving cycles.....
