Since this thread was such a success in the 9000 forum, why not make one for the 900's? Just post all of your good pictures of your c900. I guess I will start.
One with its older brother - same car almost to the exact detail but a couple of years older
Waiting patiently to be judged in SOC national 2006 concours
Last one... at the strip out of our track hack 9k.
Saabeh - unfortunately i wasn't in the Gumball - couldn't afford the entry cost. However i drove the car to Monaco for the F1 Grands Prix and it was also the finish of the Gumball Rally - hence the stickers. Cruised through Monaco Casino square and got a round of applause, and felt slightly sheepish - ah well. Photo was taken in a fav campsite in northern france.
2.3 head conversion - are you fitting a 2.1 inlet as well? I'm having a 2.3 head fitted this month as well but the 2.1 inlet will have to wait until Spring 2007 i think.
Yep, I have the 2.3 head and the 2.1 intake, just need to clean then and get a headgasket set. Still debating which intake cam I want to use. But either way, I will post up my conclusion about springs and tire sizes when all of it is installed.
To me there is none. I really like the colour though.
The forty edition is a 2.0 16v with stabilizer bars and alloy wheels from the 900 turbo. And electric option pack.
you need to get a bigger NO2 bottle .... allows for longer periods of fun! Another fun accessory for NO2 is a "secondary chuffer outlet"- typically terminating in a face mask inside the car - can be wonderful for getting OUT of trouble with a date .... (friend of mine had an NO2 system in his '69 Camaro SS 396/402 - which really was a bit over the top for the street - but still lots of fun - he later built a 454 powered Vega (remember those?) - also "on the bottle" - ).
Just curious - why the rebadge ? edit: Belay that question - I missed the low order 0.
I don't really invest very much in this car. Everything is free or as cheap as possible. Things that work well are improved so long as it doesn't cost too much. I put some 9k calipers on it last week and used the worn brake pads which came with the calipers. The nitrous bottle I have is free (an old fire extinguisher.) The tyres were the cheapest available and so were the wheels. I found a cheap pair of brand-new Koni shocks for the rear and they've been on there for about 6 months and are only just about to be equalised with a set of front Koni's. I have found a bigger gas bottle (for free again) but I still need to get a valve on it.
