Thanks Saba! That's definately FAQ material! :cheesy:

I hope never to see any of those messages (except the ones that say "OK" or "Activated"), especially the "driving too fast" one.

Although, I wouldn't mind seeing the last one! :cheesy:  :cheesy: 8)

What's the valey mode all about?
My information states that while SID has the potential to display all of these messages (and more), many are market or option specific.

The valet parking feature may be the exception, as it appears to be unavailable in ANY market

This feature would effectively allow the driver to "arm" the valet mode which would typically limit throttle activation and disable boost via the electronically controlled waste-gate, preventing so called valet "abuse".

HTH

For those that are wondering what valet "abuse" is, it's when the valet guy comes back with a HUGE grin on his face, and says "Mister, this is a VERY nice car" ..

The only quirky SID error I ever received was "Release Park Brake".

The story behind that is pretty simple. I was dropping off my friend after we drank ourselves stupid at a local bar near ESPN headquaters in Bristol. I don't remember it, but I must have engaged the e-brake while in his driveway, but I never disengaged it before backing up onto the street and putting it in drive. Let's just say out of nowhere I heard the "chim", looked at the SID, and was like "O @$#%"...

I released the e-brake, and everything returned to normal.

Moral of the story? Drinking and driving is BAD!
