Theres an end piece of the reverse lockout tab stuck where it should sit at, could not having the reverse lockout cause difficulty to engage reverse? Upon using all the other gears and for example going to park and reversing it wont go in and grinds... Ive readjusted linkage twice already hoping that would help...

Any ideas anyone? Im hoping its notin serious...

NG900 reverse synchros are made from aged cheese and suck from the factory. Shifting into first then reverse can help. Worst case, turn off the engine.

Not having the reverse lockout plastic piece in place will make it tough to find 5th. Bought my SAAB without one and was amazed how much easier it was to find 5th when I installed it.
