Saab of Danbury CT (currently located in Saturn of Danbury until they build their new location) enabled AUX for me with no problems and at no charge. They have never done it before at that point and just asked that I supply the directions on how to do so. I did and he made copies for all of his technicians. He also said that in the future, there would be no charge for any TECH II changes.

Saab of Troy, Michigan.

Free Aux install with Tech II. They wanted $45 - $90 to do the cable install. I did it myself instead.

Lund Saab in Phoenix, AZ. They did the AUX enable for free when I went in for some warranty work. I was their first customer for this so I gave them the Etadyne instructions and they had no problem. I also bought the cable from them and installed that myself.

Ken Bachlor Saab in San Antonio will do it. Mine is there right now getting some warranty service done and they said they would do it (along with enabling some other TechII features) Monday before I pick it up. It'll be their 1st one, so from here on out it should be easy for everyone else.

No charge.

Morries Saab/Cadillac in Golden Valley, MN
I'm not too fond of these guys. There are no deals there. I know of other people who have had bad experiences there as well. Every time I've gone there, I felt like I was at the Chevy dealership. I didn't buy a Saab to be treated like that. Even though the car was purchased there, they have made me go through all sorts of hoops to get their supposed "complementary" loaner cars when I needed them. Has always been a runaround to get basic things taken care of. Had a good service writer in the past, but then he went elsewhere. They can do an Aux-In activation, but I didn't want to deal with them.

So, I started going to
Schmelz Countryside Saab/VW in Maplewood, MN
Nice folks and really know their stuff. As far as loaner cars, their policy is that if the car is under warranty and the wait time would be more than about two cups of coffee, they will provide a rental car and bill the rental to Saab. For everyone. Even if you didn't buy the car there. Cost me $59 to get the Tech2 changes made, so while I was at it I had them change a bunch of other stuff.
