Default where is the best thread (with pics) for 95 900 E-brake adjustment?

sounds like real PIA.

IIRC someone said better to remove rotors???

Do I flip the little thing up or down? Same on both sides?

I'm also not seeing exactly what I"m suppose to adjust under the car.

How about a pic with the exact part I need to turn circled?

This is the best guide I've used. The fixed caliper 9-5 is the same as the 9-3 and the 900.

This is the adjuster that you need to turn through the disc. On the right side of the car, the star-shaped wheel has to be turned downward to tighten the handbrake. Upward on the left side.

I am extremely puzzled by that picture. On my 900 (and on my later 9-5) the adjuster is at the bottom.

The adjuster can also be installed in either direction, so which way you turn to loosen depends on how it was reinstalled. I would go with the info above, modify if it clearly isn't working. Note, unlike all the proper drum brakes I've worked on, the adjusters aren't left side/right side, so if they both have the starwheel forward, you will have to turn them in 'opposite' directions, i.e. up to loosen on one side, down to loosen on the other.

I'm guessing that the photo was taken from below looking up at the bottom of the hub. My 900 is also definitely star wheel at the bottom.

Yeah, you're right about the angle, the previous picture has the caliper to the right; the starwheel picture has the caliper ears to the left. Everything else looks pretty correct. Nice think about 900/9-3, there's a lot better access to the caliper retaining bolts than there is on the 9-5.

The early 9-5 had the adjuster and actuator swapped, i.e. the cable connected to the actuator at the bottom of the hub not above it like on the 900, 9-3 and later 9-5.

Oh, to add, once the shoes are adjusted properly, there should be an adjustment in the cable. If you are lucky, it's not 100% seized. There are a couple of cable designs; I don't have EPC to check what a 1995 would have, or where you'd adjust it.
