How is the mount holding up 2 years on?

I need to replace my original and will admit that I have been disinclined to fit a proparts item. I've found both lemforder parts and one single place with the corecto part but no idea on whether the retailers are trustworthy.

I ordered what was listed as an OEM mount last fall and what arrived was a ProParts mount. I was hesitant to put it in, but did it anyway. Wish I hadn't as it only lasted a couple months.

Maybe it just couldn't handle the extra torque from my Stage 3 tune.

Mine is definitely sagging, but otherwise it seems fine. I definitely won't get five years out of it. I'll probably replace it within a year.

These are the only other alternatives that I've managed to find.

Corteco mount. Seems a bit cheap, but from what I've dredged up on forums, spareto seem legit. Very slow to get hold of one.
Lemforder mount. A little more expensive, but claims 3-5 day availability.

I also found a place offering genuine saab 2.2 diesel mounts, but I don't think it's the same mount, even though the image looks similar. The two body mounting points look flat rather than staggered like those two above.

I considered it, but it causes way too much vibration for my taste. I've already got their poly transmission mount which is great. I had the poly rear mount too but that was a step too far.

I replaced all three engine mounts back in 2012 or so. All ordered on-line, and at least some were Corteco, possibly all. And yes, the mysterious manual transmission mount was available.

Anyway, as far as I can tell the motor mounts have been working fine since then. At this point I'm not going to examine them, I'm just going to keep driving.

ProParts is the OEM now. The Corteco mount seems to be unavailable, at least in the US. Factory parts have a one year warranty, so if yours failed in a couple of months, you should have taken it back and gotten a new one.

Yes, the ProParts mount went back for a refund. Unfortunately for me the pin and bolt snapped in the engine mount bracket, which had to be replaced as well. That wasn't covered.

I tried posting a picture of the mount, but I don't have enough post counts to do so

If/when I need to fix my engine mount I have 2x1 litre bottles of polyurethane shore 85a that I'll make them with.

I got it to repair the engine mounts in my son's Lancer.

ONE engine mount paid for the PU.

He's very satisfied with the result after 18 months and he drives it hard.
He tore the centre out of an Exedy clutch plate.
