Great news. I had body work done 2 weeks ago on my 2011 9-3 because some idiot clipped by bumper. There wasn't much damage but my taillight needed to be replaced. Only took 2 days for the body shop to receive it in the mail. Body shop said parts weren't much of an issue at all and now, definitely shouldn't be.

Would be nice to have a warranty, but I was able to get one through Geico when I bought the car 6 months ago and it's around $10 a month. Only problem is, the deductible is $250.

Who did the body shop order the parts through???? I am still being told by the dealership that parts can't be ordered yet.

The tail light was probably used/reconditioned. The dealer (unless you're talking about the body shop) is referring to new parts.

Local body shop ordered a SAAB Spoiler for my 97 Vert. Waited a week before parts opened up for shipping but 1st week of July they released the spoiler. Got it in NH 4 days later.

The press release said MI so probably Detroit area. I'd bet commercial warehouse space is about free in that area.

My guess is the old SCNA HQ in Royal Oak. Next time I'm over that way, I'll stop in and see if I'm right.
