Clutch pedal stays on floor half the time- do we need to bleed the clutch cylinder? I assume it is the valve under a small plastic cover on the transaxle? Any problems using a pressure bleeder as I assume the res. is the same as the brake master cylinder.
You could try bleeding, clutch does share the brake resevoir. Could be the clutch master cylinder is shot. They can wear out and cause the same 'clutch to the floor' symptoms. But bleeding is cheaper to try first than a $100 for a new master cylinder. If it is the master, it's a pretty easy swap out, 30 minutes.
