I tried to open it for about 3 hours before I cut it. There is 0 clearance between my intercooler and the front of the core and about 3/8" between my condenser and intercooler from the bottom. There was no clearance to get to the latch. Should of just deleted the a/c!!!....

I would say a bit harsh as well and not thought out. You could have taken off the front bumper, lowered the intercooler and had access to the catch.

What a bummer that you had to go through that. I guess they mad it so you just can't get into these things easily

so my car is running great, no leaks anymore so that makes me happy, i am at 980 miles! break in period is over... i plug in my apc to get some boost, and the apc is making a constant clicky noise when plugged in so i swapped out for another apc, and the same result. does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?

Bad wiring probably, check if everything is grounded properly.
