Oil Leak

We have only had the car a week or two before I dropped the pan. I didnt notice any leaks prior to that but I could smell burnt oil after shutting the car off.

The last couple of days I noticed some oil on the ground. I assumed it was from the pan. When I climbed under, it looked like the pan but there was oil on the block under the starter.

It looked dry higher up. Is there something that could leak above the pan but below the valve cover? It didnt look like the fill tube.

I still think it is the pan but I doubt the oil would leak up...

oil pressure sensor, above the stater. Known to leak on some cars. OIl will drip on cat and smell very bad when it does.
