So I was driving today, and went to put the top up as we parked into a restaurant. It's always taken a while to go up (and down), so I wasn't really concerened. Until I stopped hearing the little motor cranking.

Long story short, I had to manually raise my top. Following the manual of course.

It did the same thing to me a few days ago, but somehow managed to fix itself overnight.

From what the previous owners told me, they NEVER put down the top.

I'ts been working for about 2 months now for me, but I guess the abrupt use of the top was too much for it.

What should I do about this ??

I CAN'T drive with my top up. It's like going to a buffet and not eating.

ALL HELP IS IMMENSLY APPRECIATED !! ;)

so the motor simply stopped? check the hydraulic fluid level. maybe it's low and messing with the motor (though i don't know how i could ever leak if the top was never operated). the motor could be weak, but that's also doubtful with you being the only one to operate the top. why in hell would someone buy a convertible and never put the top down?
