I have recentley bought a Saab 9-3 1.9tid 150 2005 i have fitted new brake pads on the rear but the handbrake lever still seems to come up a long way

can the lever itself be adjusted inside the car as with the previous 9-5

i have just sold after doing 131000 miles in it

Saabs of the past did have a direct tie-in..no more..its an independent system, if it is similar to the older 900ng and 9-3og..

can the lever itself be adjusted inside the car as with the previous 9-5 That would be nice, and more Saab like..
But, I fear it is a case of betting down, getting under and getting dirty...hope I am wrong about this..

Welcome to Saab Central, Brakey. Good buy, the Diesel, our environmentalists and their supporters say no on this issue....
