My 2001 convertible heater blower stopped working last weekend, thought I would give it a try yesterday. When I turned the ignition on the heater motor started on full. Great I thought and went to the shops, when I got there turned the igntion off and the blower continued to run. Abandoned shops and returned home still blowing full when turned off. I have disconnected the battery meantime. Any ideas? The LED indicators have also gone on the AC / Heater panel, don't know if this is related.

Sounds like you've got a bad relay/a short in the thermo fan relay switch.

p.s. As a side note, I like Dewars, that and Johnnie Walker Blue Label.
