Manual transmission conversion...pros and cons
I am thinking about doing a manual conversion on my 91 2.3 turbo. The auto tranny is on its last leg and just 2 days ago started leaking fluid faster than you can put it in. I've searched for threads on this with little success. Is this a good course of action? I do have moderate mechanical experience, and I have already changed the head gasket/timing chain on this car. Also, is there a manual transmission that is better than the rest, or what model/years are compatible with my car? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
