Blow off valve?

Blow off valves are really easy to install on the 2.8. Buy an HKS adapter for the Hyundai genesis 2.0 turbo. Then buy a Tial 50mm or HKS ssqv. Stick either one on the adapter and bolt the adapter where the stock bypass valve is on the turbo. I believe the forge blow off valve works without an adapter.

The hard part is getting a vacuum source. I had the speed shop across from work drill a hole in my intake manifold and fit a vacuum line fitting for $40. Then I ran a vacuum line to the BOV. The vacuum lines which run along the fire wall have PCVs which don't allow for enough vacuum with a t adapter.

If you buy a $40 HKS knock off off of ebay You will need to take it apart and mess with the spring (stretching, heating, and cutting) until it works properly. Now mine works just as good as any other blow off valve.

There are 3 codes which need to be fixed which result from unplugging the Bosch PBV. HP tuners can clear them.

Why can't you just use the line from the stock BPV?
