Default Project Griffin : aka..white viggen clone

Started this project a month or so ago. The car is a 2000 9-3se w/ 64k on the clock I picked up in RI. So far i've put in a 3' V2 dp from GS, upgraded rear sway bar, saab sport exhaust, stage 2 tune, front strut brace, 17 bbs rims, painted the calipers, added some old saab emblems, roof mount antenna, euro spec corner turn signals, a vanity plate/euro plate, and polished di and other bits. The interior has a cf dash kit, autometer boost gauge, audiotroll mp3 hook up and cf door pulls. I have a black pearl grille but i'm not sure if I'll put it on until I get the entire thing taken car of.

Took me a little bit to get these as well as all the small it things like fender extenstions, mudflaps, ect.. I sent the front bumper, rear bumper, spoiler, roof top spoiler, and 4 door rocker panel side skirts out from paint early last week

Project has hit a snag as the paint for the front bumper has imperfections. Some how the bumper had some type of solvent on it so there are a few cracks in the paint. Have to let it cure for awhile to seal the bumper and see if any other show up..then get a respray...

They're low enough that they look pretty bad without the rest of the kit.

And low enough to scrape everywhere. Then they look bad in another way, at least underneath.

I thought I was pretty good about avoiding the scrapes... but I managed to do it coming down an incline and on to the flat roadway a couple days ago. That one surprised me.

Pieced it together from various cars but use to have the spoiler on my old 9-3 for 2yrs before i sold it as well as the rooftop I took off my black vig cloned car for this project.
140 for the front and rear bumper picked up
300 for the spoiler shipped
330 for the sideskirts/jackcovers shipped
320 rooftop spoiler shipped
100 for various bits like the mudflaps, fender extensions, undershield tray, ect.. shipped

then you have to get it all painted since vig parts never came in white. Black parts are usually the easiest to come across

Its looking beautiful . I'm quite jealous to be honest. This is something I've been wanting to do to my Vigg since day one i got it. Something about the viggen body and white cars just seem drop dead gorgeous to me.

Good Work !
