Hi all breaking my silver coloured 1996 saab 9000 aero.
Excellent engine and manual gearbox.
Very good condition light leather interior.
Super aero alloy wheels.
All parts currently available.
Can post/deliver parts at your cost.

How much would you want for the decor panel on the boot (the light panel that holds the reversing light/boot lock), presuming it's in good condition of course.
Also the n/s rear brake caliper.
And the one-way washer valve thats held in the high-level brake light assembly, or the entire lamp if thats easier?

Hi the rear panel is in pretty good condition. The caliper is fine. This a 1996 YM so I will have to double check to see it will fit. My mobile no is 07920 488 466 if you have the caility on your phone i can send you a pic of the rear panel cheers Nick.

Does it have the original radio with the removable panel in excellent working and cosmetic cond, and do you have the security code for it?

Sorry Nick, ancient phone doesn't handle photos but if the panel is clean then i'll take your word for it. Let me know how much you'd want for each part and i'll let you know what I can afford... the caliper and the hi-level bulb-holder are the priority.

My MY is actually a '96, not the '97 I mistakenly stated - wether the calipers are the same for Aero's and CSE's I don't know.

Hi the caliper will fit. I have the one way valve also. £50 inc. delivery for these 2 items. Re the decor light panel whilst it is intact and in 1 piece it does have 2 light cracks in it. It is servicable and in 1 piece. Including this item with the other 2 also £65 cheers Nick.

Hi the battery was flat yesterday. From memory it has a cover that automatically folds over it when switched on/off. I will get back to it with a chareged up battery. Sorry to be vague but i've only been in it briefly on a few occaisions.

9ks are fast being junked in the UK; I've got 2 9000 Aeros and total of 4 engines, 6 gearboxes and 5 full sets of bodywork counting what is on the cars. In 5 years there will be little available.

Post a wanted add, you will find what you need.

At the moment I am just needing a trans tho I also know of someone needing an engine. Just trying to weigh up the cost of a rebuild v shipping one in.

Decent engine and gearbox will set you back 250 to 300, then you would need it shipped...I'd rebuild the engine but might make sense to import a known working box, depending on rates.

Might be cheaper to just buy and ship a whole car though...

I have just bought a 9000 Aero that I hope will survive for some time to come with tender love and and some money



anybody want some blingy 17 inch Oz wheels with Bridgestone Potenzas on? I will revert back to the original Super Aeros asap

Looks very nice. £300 for a set of super aeros with good tyres. Lots of 9000 spares here to keep yours going "Keep Saabing"

the good thing is the car came with the original aeros in the boot, and a spare gearbox, and a spare 3inch JT full exhaust....boy those things are fat, like a drainpipe
