Yeah I've been busy lol mostly just trying to keep it on the road. So how's the drive compared to your tuned vector 2.0T was?

Yea that's what I was doing too. It got to the point where I was putting way too much money into it, so I figured it was time tp part ways. It was tough though, I loved that car. The TX drives awesome. It's very solid and the power is so smooth. It pulls hard and doesn't even seem like it's pushing the engine at all. The delivery is what is most noticeable. My Vector surged at low rpms, while this is much more linear and pulls real hard around 5.

Oh and Martin thanks for that caliper pic it looks great!

I haven't put put the Turbo X wheels on a scale but I think 25 lbs + each (one need only lift a comparably sized O.Z. -- with 1/2 inch more width -- to feel the difference). Also: stock P Nero Zero in 235/45 18 are 27 lbs a corner! [my replacement G-MAX AS-03, like Conti DWS, are only 22lbs]. Easy then to shave 10 lbs + a corner on an intelligent wheel/tire combo (without spending The Moon). That said, I still ain't giving up those stock wheels! .

Calipers: The standard silver paint starts looking shabby soon...In the first year had them painted black (caliper paint) and then affixed white 'SAAB' stickers off the Bay (inspired by Kart125...where is he these days?) but they started to peel after a harsh winter. All black is a no brainer. Easy to touch up too. If you start going colored-- unless professionally done -- they can start looking horrible/home-made. Better to put the money towards VTuner Stage 1 .

i got my spoiler off ebay more than a yr ago, please search "saab roof spoiler" on ebay. it was about 100usd painted & shipped from taiwan.
installation was pretty straight forward as it came with 3m tape, it's always better to have 2 people holding the ends to make sure it lines up properly.

Thanks! Little update, but nothing too special.. I got put on some General G-Max all-seasons in the correct size, and put in my old subs.. Say goodbye to trunk space! More to come

Haha! Yea they're a bit of a pain sometimes but the stereo just sounds so much better with them. Not cranked, just enough

Yellow G2 caliper paint came over the weekend... Now I just gotta find the time. Not sure if one G2 kit will cover the massive fronts and the back but we'll see. Think it's gonna look great

Haha thanks man! Yea I was torn between a few colors but am happy with yellow. You don't see it all that often which I like I think a light tint will really set it off now...

definitely needs a tint, i don't know one car out there that doesn't look better tinted

Yea I'm struggling with it. In NH it's only legal to tint the rear, which I think looks stupid. I'm hoping I can get away with 35% all around, but don't want to spend the cash if I won't be able to get it inspected next year. I could go lighter but then it's like why bother... Just ordered a rear roof spoiler which I'm pretty excited about!

Cars looking great man. I agree you need some tint but I'm one the people that has never actually had it done. Always liked it but have never done it for various reasons but mostly because I don't want any extra attention from the b/ws. I personally like the fronts lightly tinted and the rear windows darker.. make sure that everyone just isn't misinterpreting the law in your state. It is possible that they are referring to the front and rear windows.
