9-5 or 9-3 wanted in/near Hartford CT area

My 9-5 was just totaled after someone on a cell phone blew through a red light and t-boned the kids and I the other night. The good news is that no one was hurt. The bad news is I no longer have my car and the insurance company's idea of her monetary value was inconsistent with her actual value!

Given all that, I have just over $3,500 to find another car. I would like to find either a 9-5 or a 9-3 under 130K. I would prefer a sedan but am somewhat flexible when it comes to body style other than I am not looking for a hatchback. Heated seats/leather interior preferred and, bowing to demands of the family, it must be an automatic.

Full disclosure .
It was lemoned in 2003for stalling. Has not stalled since I have owned in beginning in 2004.

Has a very slow oil leak probably from a lower gasket.
Don't left fog light is disconnected. Had to cut the cable after driving in a field at am apple orchard front end bottomed out.

Newer tires in the last 10 k
Roof rack
I would rate borderline fair/poor. Mainley to the oil leak.
Body panels have some flaws Scratches and such. Normal for an 9 year old car.


Cabin fan started working again after a 6month hiatus.

But she drives well gets good mileage and still is quick. And I recently replace the front right spring.

Just came across this... I have an 02 9-3 SE that I would be open to letting go of. Great car, excellent condition, normal wear and tear, 102K miles,ac is great, super quick, leather interior... I am in Houston, but if you were willing to travel to get it, I'd be willing to let it go for $3,500.
