if it has a hole in it at maybe due to the exhaust rotting from the inside due to watery fuel or a hg gradually going or just age,,but it's not going to get better they have to be replaced like tyres as sometime

After asking a lot of dumb questions in a lot of forums, I finally talked the original car's price tag down to $6000 and am picking it up on Tuesday. I feel a little bad because I let myself go that high on the price, but if a classic 900 is anything like the communities I've spoken with make me believe- this is a car that will give me significantly more than that in reliability and enjoyment.

The owner of the dealership said it was checked out by Saabworks and gave a convincing description of their verdict over the phone, which matched the little I could discern when I looked at it myself. I put down $200 already, but I'm calling Saabworks directly to discuss the vehicle before I give them the real cash involved with purchasing the vehicle.

The second Saab owner (40k miles in South Burlington) scoffed at the price I was getting for it, which made me at least a bit more confident.
