trust me, i'm not knocking this project, everyone loves carbon fiber right?

I'm just saying that anyone willing to go through all the trouble of moving their turbo and changing manifolds and downpipes and oil/coolant lines will not be doing it so they can run a TD04, they'll be running a holset or a huge GT... meaning the inlet will be totally different anyway and your CF cobra will become useless.

I'm not a CF guy myself, but most people love it. But I don't see how it can be something that people will pay "much" for if it doesn't also provide a significant performance increase (although lots of people have forked over big bucks for the GS pipe, just cause it's shiny)... I don't think you will be able to exceed the performance gains of the king cobra, is all I was trying to say.

At this point I'm sorry for chiming in. So carry on!

All input is welcome. It's more something I'm doing for myself. If it's something I can make on the cheep and sell a few then so be it. I'm not in it to become a vender. Just have some fun.

The more I plan this the more I see it's modular nature. If I use an alum elbo at the base it would be really easy to just have different assorted for different turbos. I have a super 60 T3 I had on a daytona that I was starting to think about but my car is an auto and to be honest... This is my daily and I don't want to take away from it's drivability.

i say go for it and have fun with a project but i just find it ridiculous that GS wants over $300 for that pipe...and for what, some bling bling.

so if you could make one for less than half that im sure people would be interested but thats probably not likely cause CF is expensive
