From the size of the trailers in the backbround I would say Europe. Then it looks like the brown sign says something "Kroner". So I assume this refers to currency. Looking at the landscape I think it is somewhere in Sweden or Norway.
But I have no clue what this hut is. Looks like antenna cables going in. Phone booth?

Looks like a shower or out house. Maybe a camp ground by a lake or ocean.

It's a timed shower at a campground somewhere - but Brendan posted out of order. SaabKen's pic is supposed to be the current topic.

Brendon provided the location for the Fremont troll in his post above.

I think this is actually a "self timer" ski slope somewhere in Scandinavia.

Self timing ski slope either in Denmark, Norway, Greenland, or the Faroe Islands.

If it's an outhouse, it sure ain't got much privacy protection . Unless it's the Scandinavian approach

This is correct. The photo is taken in summer so no snow.

Somehow I had a hunch to start searching in Australia first

It's the Black Mountain Tower near Canberra:

The picture doesn't give it justice.

It's a monument to men who fell in the Spainish civil war if I remember correctly.
