Cobalt with B207R
Well..... I would like to thank the Saab forums for helping me out with my transplant of the motor. I got lots of info from people on the forum here.
I have a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC. I blew cyl #4. Wanted a cheap way to replace the motor. LSJ motor cost $1,200 with 120k. B207R was $600 with 30k. So the choice was obvious. I would like to report that the transplant was a major success. It is a supercharged B207R. In all honesty was pretty simple too. It's in at 274whp and 233wtq on a 3.0 pulley and E85.
