No pun intended, but your car is not the "norm", and furthermore, is not what is rated at. Now, if you were to fine tune the dart te same way you did you 9-5, wouldn't you think that you'd be getting more mpgs out of it?

honestly.. I have yet to own a car that I could not get higher than EPA ratings for.. with very little effort on my part

The 04 9-5 wagon is stock with 177K miles averaging 60 mph for 50 miles in both directions. The 00 sedan with a tune sees well into the 40's.

I'm going to guess that you are "hypermiling", or you have a very "unique/special" car, since it's just NOT the norm. There have been multiple 9-5s in the family, wagons, SE, Sedans, Aeros, even a 9-3, and none have gotten the kind of MPGs you get.

The sedan drops to 23.5 mpg when pulling another 9-5 for 660 miles. 35 mpg with an empty tow dolly.

I consider the new regal GS the reincarnation of a Saab 9-3 at least from the GM side.
