2008 weird window problem......

Probably a pinch protection issue.

To reset Pinch Protection, as explained in the Manual. Raise and lower the affected window(s) twice holding the switch in the appropriate direction, on the second closing hold the switch up until you hear the ding/chime. See p.100-104 or 130 in your manual depending on the version.

My 04 had the same problem! It is the pinch protect that is the problem. You can get the window up by holding down the window lock button while raising the window. This will get you by till you can get it fixed. (I hope that works, mine is an 04 I assume it will work on an 08)

I was having the same problem but I could not get the window to reset using the instructions in the owner's manual. I found a thread on here that said to unplug the connector that feed the wires to the door. It's located up in the door hinge. After disconnecting the connector and plugging it back in I was able to reprogram the windows and then everything worked fine.
