Actually, I was more interested in the '96 900S 5-door. What's the deal on those, how come they don't have a separate section in the forum? Nevermind, found them in the NG900/9000 area. So if my powers of obsercation and researching the NG900 section are correct, this particular car has the 4-speed automatic, and since it's an S model without a boost gauge, most likely it has the 2.0 non-turbo engine?

$17k is FAR too high, but I will say........in the time that I have really been looking (4-5yrs), I think I have seen 2 or 3 "collectable" 900's with mileage that low.
I'm not arguing....those prices are hoping for a moonshot, but if each car were P E R F E C T, $10k wouldn't be a stretch at all. |

I have yet to see a perfect one.
About 7 years ago, I paid 6500 for an SPG that was damn near perfect, a 90% restoration job. If it had been a 'vert I would add 1500 to that price. They haven't appreciated all that much since that time, if at all. Saab going out of business MAY have affected prices but it is to soon to tell if it will be a positive or negative effect. This guy is definitely on crack. He'll have those cars on his lot for quite a while. |
