Dallas meet up 11/21!
Some of the local members of the very loose Saab club are planning a meeting on 11/21 in Plano. If you're interested, send me a PM with your email and I'll forward the invite (which is at a member's house - I doubt he wants me posting his address!)

Sounds great. I'd definitely like to make it. I'll note that in my schedule immediately ! Looking forward to it. And of course the 2009 DFW Toy Run is on Sat. 12/5/09 !

OK. Thanks much. I tried to respond to the Evite but it recognizes me as Andrew Ganz, even though I have an Evite account. So I did not want to mess up his maybe invite with my yes.
I am looking forward to the meetup. The only thing that could happen is that a client may pre-empt it. My clients are always top priority. Maybe we should also start a SAAB meetup group ! I actually looked into it already at Meetup.com . There is a monthly cost though, can be paid quarterly or bi-annually as well. Would you like me to do that ? It's not much, especially if 4 or 5 of us chip in a few bucks. Since I did not finish it, they have been sending me emails with discounts for starting the DFW SAAB Drivers Meetup group. And we would probably find more local SAAB people that don't even know about SAAB Central, YET  . Or actually they'd find us on Meetup.com.

I included my mobile number in my updated response just a moment ago, I'll be working, like every other day so I'll probably be picking something up on the way. Maybe some herring ? I was thinking pizza would be simple and widely enjoyed, everyone like anchovies, broccoli, mushrooms ?

How did you alls Meet Up Go? I had to work. Any photos taken?
Anybody know any Auto Resale or Wrecking yards that may still keep the Classic 900 cars 1987-1993, just curious? |

Meet-Up
It went great ... had about nine Saabs show (1985 to 2008 models) and about 15 people. We will plan another soon ... weather has been so crumpy, it got dark quickly so no photos were taken. Mainly 9-5 models.

Yeah, there is another thread actively going on right now for a Houston meet up. I suggested Austin, of course Waco is closer to US
 Anyone know a great place to eat in Waco ? With good parking!

There should be plenty of places to meet-up and eat with a big parking lot in Waco. Didn't they just get done building some big shopping center complex on the south side of town?
