I've been reading for hours now and my eyes are bleeding, but yet it seems there's been nothing conclusive on either SC or any other sites.
So far what i've gleamed is: The cobalt SS 5-speed internals or quaife's 6speed upgrade for the cobalt will fit into the ng900 F25 gearbox. Is this FACT? If it is, i may be looking at the junk yards for a wrecked cobalt rather than a saab. My problem with this is the following: The shift linkage points are completely different. saab has a shaft going in from the aft. Cobalt has a top-mounted, cable-driven shift link. How can internals driven this differently work?! Has anyone here DONE it and know for a FACT that it WORKS? Everything i've read points to yes, but without a definite, i'm very hesitant to go ahead with something like this. The most conclusive post i've found yet is here: http://www.saablink.net/forum/showth...t=11493&page=3 but the bickering through the rest of the thread leaves me almost as uncertain as when i started. Thanks Tristan
