i just bought a 1984 saab 900 s and the fellow tells me that the
problem with the car is the oil pump piston and spring. he has removed it and cannot get it back in...and thinks he may have lost the pieces.. 1. where can i buy the oil piston, and springs and cap...? 2. Can it be replaced without removing the engine... ? 3. can it be replaced without even loosening the engine? 4. Anyone ever done this before? |

Oh man I did that once...
took me a few days to get it back in You can definately do it, just work harder putting it in. You don't need to do anything but removing the LF wheel makes it easier to see. Look near crank pulley.
