OK. Ive searched the site and I give up. I love car magazines but I find ones for American cars easy and tuners but what magazine is good for Saab owners. I like to learn about my car on the toilet so I cant take a computer in there. So what does everyone else read?

Get a laptop
No don't bad for the sperm count... Basically the enthusiast magazine world exploded about 10-20 years ago branching out from just CARCRAFT to all those "dedicated" mags, like High Performance Pontiac, Mopar... something, etc etc. (and yeah, all those ones with about 127 skantily clad voluptous females surrounding a crapped-out Civic... ) Far as I know nothing really exists in THAT mould for the Saab driver. There is of course Nines published by the SCNA. Which is actually quite similar to what I described above, lots of interesting technical articles and other things, but I don't subscribe

In the UK we've got Retro Cars which seems to have a large-ish US readership if the letters pages are anything to go by, there's Classics Monthly (the editor owns a C900 so they get featured quite often) - both titles are part of Future Publishing - and there's Practical Performance Car which has the odd C900 & 9000 adorning its pages.
All should be available in the US but not neccessarily at your local store - you'll probably need to subscribe... |
