my 5-speed shift knob is currently falling apart. I was thinking of just getting a new black metal one to replace it. Do i need to really worry about the reverse lever? I like the look of the matrix ones (theyre pretty cheap too), but they look like they might be too long.

The reverse thing is connected to the plastic shaft so if you get a shift knob which fits on the tip exactly as the Saab one did you're set.
