Lowering - What's your camber change? Camber Kits?

For those who've lowered their cars with an aftermarket spring set... anyone checked just how much their camber changed, front or rear?

Also, anyone installed a PFS camber kit to adjust it?

I dont think you can install the kit, it is for when the strut is bolted to the spindle, it is all welded has one piece on the ng900/og9-3, I believe it is for the 9-5 and possibly 9-3SS.

This is from a 9-5, the kit replaces bolts #14.

Yeah... good point. I was envisioning it replacing the stanchion to control arm bolt #27, but now that I look at the illustration, it appears that it would only change caster since the control arm length is fixed.

The only way it might work is if it replaced the control arm to frame bolt # 28. That's not the intent now that I re-read the kit description. You'd need an eccentric bolt to replace #28... not sure what bolt size that would be but it would be a coincidence if it matched the 9-5 strut to spindle bolt size.

Still interested if anyone has measure the front / rear camber changes before and after or just after lowering.

IIRC the change in camber in the front from the basic lowering springs still stay withing factory parameters

rear toe and camber get excessive... but that's mostly due to the rear being an issue even before lowering

i have eibachs. unlike other springs ive seen there was no noticeable change in camber.

also, it will only change in the back aka no reason to worry about it until you start eating tires, in which case you probably have a tweaked rear axle or some other larger problem.

The only way to adjust camber on the NG would be to install camber plates where the strut mount is.
Some plates bolt up(the Saab design would allow for this) and others need to welded in.

None for a Saab but I but you could find one that would work(these aren't necessary for a regular street car).

I'm thinking that the front has to change. The bottom location of the knuckle is fixed horizontally. So is the strut top body mount . So, if you shorten the spring, then the distance from the knuckle to the strut top body mount (and since they are not directly on top of each other), then the angle of the strut has to add more negative camber to connect the two points, doesn't it?

I'm actually more concerned about the front... I know I can shim the rear if needed for toe & camber.

Also, I'd prefer to do it before I eat up $300 worth of tires :-)
