Progress so far: Interior is coming out, lots of ”not suitable for racing purposes bits” go in the bin.

Cleaned out the luggage compartment, 10 more kilos gone (on the car )

more work done




The Civinco stand alone engine management system we are going to use has finally arrived


Big thanks to Civinco and BA Ost & CharkBegan work on some stuff in the cabin on Saturday.

Took some pictures with the Nikon that went with us to the garage, as a little supplement to the former.







The next step is to make new brake lines and get started on the new electrical system - from scratch

Now we have started work on the interior. Seats, pedals, handbrake, etc. etc. are in place, as well as the protective cover to shield the cabin from the luggage compartment.

Today I spent some time cleaning the oil sump. Was quite hard work to remove all the old burnt oil, but it worked out OK.

When I got home, it was just getting back into the car and get to the post office to pick up a nice package.


Tonight I started on control panel with toggle switches for the new Fan, parkinglights etc.



Switch with light, green for On, red for Off





Will print out labels to mark which switch goes to what.

The rear end of the car is now ready. Hours and hours went in over the weekend, but it paid off. The rear end can now be lowered. That will cure the oversteering, which haunted us last season. The gap between the wheel wells is for the fuel cell.

This Saturday me and David worked hard. All welding inside the car got finished and David got the engine and gearbox out. After that, we continued with reinforcing the front strut towers.

So, after a 12-hour nightshift in the garage, we were really pleased with what we´ve acheived. Take a look for yourselves!

Then we started to mount some fuel system






So, David has begun to assemble the engine.







More has happened is that we have had brake fluid reservoirs on the spot and started to drag hoses down to the cylinders.





Time of writing are David and Stefan on the electricity in the car. I myself am at home with family and is a little social.

As Jimmy said stuff it with electricity, peeled a bit at the kitchen table at breakfast this morning.

This is the lamp holders to the rear lights which have new cables in the new colors, a bit too long shrink tubing closest touch hide the original cable and its color and soldering.


Shrink tubing is shrunk in the picture, I know. Have no heat gun in the apartment

Were some done today.

Very unfinished wiring that is not as fun to watch but the wiring harness, relays and fuses to the petrol pumps became clear anyway.




Fixed the tubing inside the car to brake / clutch also.
