Default Ok, so where's the OBD-II plug on my SAAB?

Ok, I give up. Where's the outlet to plug my OBD-II sensor in my 1998 900-S? I've been staring at the engine like an idiot the last 20 mins.

never mind. Under the dash (doh!)

http://www.obd-2.com/dlcnet.html

"1998 Saab 900, 9000 connector is positioned on the underside of the instrument panel directly under the steering column (or approximately 150mm left or right of the steering column). with a cover."

Yeah I'm used to seeing them under the hood on some U.S. Cars.

So my error message is: PO133... O2 sensor CKT Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1).

Hmm.

Is that the O2 sensor on the Cat.? I cleared the error. I wanted to take it through inspection today, but in my state a "check engine" light is a sure-fire failure. The guy I bought it from said the O2 sensor might need changing.
