This may be a stupid question but is there anyone out there who can tell me how to remove the rotor arm on my 1993 TurboS
I have tried a few times by giving it a good pull but it won't shift. Any idea's.
Cheers,
Deano
If it won't pull off with some force, it may well have been glued on for some reason. Whay are you wanting to remove it?
It can be cleaned in situ with a gentle glass paper rub over the metal contact. If you are wanting to remove it to install a replacement, then a more heavy handed approach might well be necessary. You can crack it off using pliers.
thanks guy's,
I will give it one more try and see what happens.
I want to take it off and replace it with a new one along with my dizzy cap.
cheers,
Deano.
Crush the old one w/increasing gentle-to-moderate force in a pair of vise-grip or channel lock pliers. May want to place something underneath to catch the bits
I got it.
Had to use an 12" flathead screwdriver between it and the dizzy shaft. I think it had been on for a long time.
Thanks for all the advice guy's.
Cheers,
Deano.
