I'm comparing apples to oranges here but if it comes to the point that I can't find replacement parts for my car then saving the Saab museum news is sort of ho-hum. In these economic times saving the Saab museum wouldn't be at the top of my list but it's not my money I guess.
Smells a little like the AutoWorld themepark fiasco in Flint MI some years ago. Partially intending to serve as a positive reminder of the rich history that "once was" part of Flint MI (car building/parts industry) it ultimately served as a sad reminder of "what was lost". Not sure if I was a former autoworker in Trollhatten that I would want to be reminded every day of what was lost. Like I said, it's not my money so whatever, but that's why this news is only ho-hum to me.
