If I have lost one of my keys to my 2004 93 aero and my other one cannot be programmed to the car..... on a scale of 1 to 10 how screwed am I? and what are my options?
crap.... ha alright and where do I go about getting one of the CIMs thats slightly cheaper than the dealer and I have a key that worked a few months ago but I got a message saying the car didnt recognize it. I took it in to be programmed and they couldnt do it. Do i still need a new key?
They can reprogram the CIM with a new key for $550, which I think is the cheapest option. If your car didn't recognize your key, you are most likely out of luck. I would try replacing the battery on it and then giving it another go.
