I need unbiased advice please. My dad recently passed and I inherited his 1981 VW Rabbit Diesel LS with 36k original miles in very good shape (see vid on youtube). Should I keep it or my 1999 Saab 9-3 Convertible with 66k miles in very good condition. Each car has its merits. The Diesel gets great fuel mileage, and parts are relatively inexpensive and easier to repair. The Saab is newer, a convertible, faster - but Saabs are no longer in production, so if something breaks, parts are more expensive and finding someone to work on them is harder. I LOVE both cars. My dad had a VW Rabbit when I was a kid and we loved it - so there's a little sentimental value there. My dad passed shortly after I bought the Saab and he never got a chance to ride in her. Please help with sound advice! Many thanks. --- Gabe
