Have an odd problem with my 1999 9-3. The "Rear light Failure" message came on so, I checked both front and rear parking light bulbs on the RHS - all O.K. Checked the fusebox and found # 29 blown.
Replaced the fuse and it failed again. Have checked as much of the harness (both front and rear) I can get access to and all seems well, as do the bulb holders and connections.
I see on the fuse box that circuit also operates the license plate lights. Has any body seen this before? Are there any potential nip or pinch points where the harness could be worn allowing a short circuit?
