In my Saab 9-3 the backlighting of gauges are adjustable. Can I connect external boost gauge for this and adjust also it's backlighting at the same time.
Yes, if the gauge is mechanical wire the power from the rheostat (dimmer) switch for the interior lightning. That's what I did with my AutoMeter Phantom, I added a green filter to the bulb and the gauge almost looks factory.
Same gauge that was mentioned above. This is with full power going to the gauge though, I like my dash lights dim and it wasnt allowing enough light to the gauge to see well at night. Had to change gauges do to max reading...new one can be seen in my avatar <-----
