Read that guide along with erics through several times. You're best bet is to know exactly what you're doing going into the job. It's a tricky DIY, and you'll probably need to stock on random tools, but if you've done any moderately tricky mods...go for it.
if i were you i would honestly take it to any mechanic you maybe know good and have them do it for you...for one there is a lot of tools to do this job (mainly the spring compressor which if you get a cheap one it just makes it a pain in the ***) and and impact with a compressor speeds it up a lot so its really worth it unless you have this equipment already (even then i still got pissed putting new struts on and i have everything)
plus you could prob use an allignment when its all said and done...but if you want give it a try..
but dont say i didnt worn u:cheesy:
Those warnings are good, it is a major pain to do and can be very difficult if you don't know your way around a car and tools, but here's the guide we used for mine:
yea i have all of the tools, just scattered all around the garage lol. after trying im just gonna take it to a mechanic. let them deal with the pay. took my 4 hours just putting the shock bolt up in the strut tower lol.
