i like the look of most of the saab emblems but the real circle one that usually needs replacing once you remove the auminium badge, under it there the metal holder for it is that glued on does anyone know id like to entirely shave it
I'm pretty sure the holder for that badge is riveted in, but more importantly, it is in a indentation so body work would be required if you want to fill that area.

I'm not sure I undestand what you're trying to do.
Are we talking about the hood emblem? If so, it's only held by pins from the emblem and they fit in plastic pin holders in 2 matching holes on the hood. Just pry it out and the plastic holders. To shave??? Do you mean fill the endentation it leaves in the hood? If so, you need to grind the paint off use a metal bondo filler then smooth it and use polyester skim coat then sand smooth prime and paint.

All my badges were custom too but since then they made to ebay and custom they no longer are
