I only know about their winter tires (Hakka 1s, 2s and now the 4s) and they are amazing. I'm not sure about the rest of their line of tires, but it would make sense that a tire company in Finland would know about snow!

I have a pair of Nokian tyres on my 9000 right now, they were fitted new on the rear axle; the car is rock solid at the rear with no twitchyness in even the heaviest rain.
They are well made with easy to understand treadwear indicators [in millimeters], low toxicity manufacture process and grip!
They are Nokian Z, a high performance Scandinavian summer tyre, they are average to poor in snow but offer superlative performance in other conditions.
Brilliant tyres that match performance of the best at the mid price point.
I didn't have time to replace the summer tires until then but there was barely any snow on the ground. And they didn't like that one bit. They're alergic to snow  On rain they're OK though :cheesy:
The KDW2s suck in the snow, but they're great on dry pavement.
For winter tires, I have Michelin Alpin Pilots on my car and Nokian Hakkapellitta 2s on my wife's car. The Nokians are amazing. I'd use them in a heartbeat...
Watch out, the Nokian WR's wear out very fast! Too soft a tire for the summer I think. I've put on quite a few of those tires, most cars come back within 30k-40k needing new tires again! I've noticed some of the WR's rated "EXTRA LOAD" these seem to wear a little longer.
Oh yeah if you factor in the fact that you only use them in the summer time it's not a problem. It's the same for me and then for Winter tires. Those tires will last me 4 more years easily and probably 5+ (I have 4000KMs on them that's roughly 2500 miles)
Me too, I only get 10k or so out of my tires, but I have trouble keeping my right foot out of it and I find myself spinning... I got my first spin in third gear at 75mph the other morning... That is quite a rush, b234r FTW:cheesy: Good bye tires!
I'm pretty sure that continental owns nokian now.
check out continental's site. they make amazing winter tires, but I'm not familiar with their all-seasons.
sorry to hijack the thread but im puttin the 17 summer wheels on soon and need to know if i can use 225-45-17 the rims are bbs rkII's 17x7.5- i beleive is the width.. at least thats what i was told by the seller of them. so would 225-45-17 fit with no rubbing at all with my 99 9-3 being lowered with koni sport kit? or do i need to go with 215's? recommendations????????
