What''s wrong with my baby?!?

This morning when I tried to move my car out of the garage, it wouldn't start. All I could hear was the engine go "click click click click click click" and a slight turning of the engine, as if the battery were dead. But I just put in a brand new battery like a month ago. I have been niticing that even after the new batterythough, that it doesn't always start up on the first turn of the key.

Can anyone give me some ideas? Thanks to all in advance. :lol:

Some of the possibilities are:

Loose wire or bad contact at battery.
Loose wire or bad contact at starter.
Loose wire or bad contact at body ground.
Bad starter or solenoid.
Alternator is not charging the battery. Check for loose belt or bad wire connection at the alternator.

I would doubt it's an issue with your ignition circuit. You might have to take it in to get the charging system checked.
