Haynes 9-15 shows it; You will ,IMO, need an assistant and you will have to get out and get under ( the dash, that is).
Remove the access panels to expose the pedals in their entirity...
Use a nice powerful LED light.
You may have to remove the bulkhead grommet, feed the cable end thru and reattach the grommet - the aide can do all this - you have the tuff task of connecting the throttle cable end to the pedal...
I thought these cables were to last forever???:cheesy:

i removed the under dash and stuff and can play with the cable and stuff but does the gold spring go first or the black little clamp thing hook up to the gass pedal hole

This, as written, I understand not.
Have you removed the pedal itself ??

According to Haynes, 4A-4, the cable is "secured" by gravity.
The fancy cable end may be a shock absorber/damper..

Without any warning ?
At one time, I made these cables for airconditioners... what a boring job...
A wear spot will cause binding and hanging up, before all the wires in the cable completely fray and break..
This could take days, even months - these cables are strong.
Usually the end will slip off if it was not well assenbled, which can happen, without any notice..
