need a saab 900 distributor with vacuum advance...

ok ok, so i don't own a saab. I have an 88 vw jetta gli 16v that im putting carbs on, and i need a saab 900 distributor in order to get ignition timing advance. is anyone selling?? these are way too much from the dealership...

Why dont you find an old 1.3 Mk1 or 2 golf with a vac advance dissy on it and remove the camshaft locating lug ring from your KR distributor and place it on the vacuum advance dissy for your jetta so it fits the camshaft cut out on the 16v cams..
Ask me how i know this - i had a 200bhp Mk1 Golf 16v :D

Well he just bought mine :cheesy: so I'll ship that out tomorrow along with the rest of my ebay stuff. you should note that it's probably going to need a new O-ring (it's the original 1991 o-ring from the looks of it) and most of them start to leak a little around them. Anyways it should be just what you are looking for.
