it seam to be the lil thing that are wrong with my car that im slowly fixing thanks to this site so first id like to say thanks for all the help. now to my questiong ok the hole time i had my 94 saab cse about 3 monthes is that the horn does not work. its not a fuse. and when the alarm goes off i hear it so i know it good so and one know how to fix this?
ok i went out and checked it and the horn does work so what to do next and also i cant log in with my other screen name so i had to make a new one so if any one can help with that
you havnt been having issues with your washer jets have you? Mine seem to work randomly in different ways, Sometimes my headlight ones will work but not the windshield ones, sometimes its backward. Sometimes only the ones on the left work, sometimes only the ones on the right. Sometimes nothing comes out at all. Im stumped  Maybe i should replace everything
Well mine havent worked since i got it i think it has a hole im going under it to da and see if i can jb weld it to fix but idk if my head light wipers even work any 1 know about that the only thing i know is wrong is sometimes the dimer switch doent work and my fog ligst dont eather
My wife use to have a 1996 900 with the same sort of problem. What i believe it to be is a slip ring. As the horn & airbag need a 12v supply it is impossible to do this with cables instead they use slip ring which is a spool of thin circuit paper with a copper strands coiled up to allow the steering wheel to rotate passing a current to the horn switch & airbag. This is located below the the steering wheel mounted on the steering column.
The link below is not a Saab one but it will give you a idea of one looks like.
you might want to check to see if you need new hoes running from the pump i looked at mine today and thats waht it was
