Refitting my air temp sensor last night, when it shouldered out, with minimal torque applied it sheared off at the nut to thrd interface. Looking at the failure it was obvious it had been cracked for some time. Its a bad design as there is minimal wall thickness & the thrd is right up to the nut face
Warning is, only use fibre sealing washers ( not copper)
Use a thrd lock rather than applied torque
Be carefull with sensors, the nut size (in this case its a 19mm spanner) is not designed in relationship to the amount of torque you can apply
