Hey well my c900 is far too rusty, failed inspection, cant get atitle, and all that good stuff, so its time for me to find a more solid car. I was searching craigslist, well out of my area, and came across a 1993 9000 CS, spoke with the owners mother, she tells me she is unsure if it has the TCS, but it is an automatic, ran good when her son had it, had it running today to move the cars in the driveway, has a turbo, but has over 200k on the clock. Her son has had it for 3 years, and when graduated recently bought a new car. The price isnt bad, I'm waiting on an email with photos and other sepcs, so I had a few questions.
According to quasimotors, there was no LPT at this time, so this car should have the same 2.3 turbo motor and drivetrain found in the CSE?
TCS was an option, was it an option available on the CS? (I obviously want to avoid the TCS system)
Is it possible for an auto gearbox to have survived 200k+ miles?
She says the car is clean, no rust, but car is several states away, and if its worth it, mileage doesnt bother me a whole lot, as long as it runs good. Any other advice?
Thanks in advance!
